Please understand that this doesn’t think about wind, altitude or the human issue of much less/extra velocity era in colder/hotter temperatures. That is strictly how the carry distance is affected in differing temperatures.
The first cause for the variations we see is that temperature can have an effect on the air density, which, in flip, impacts the golf ball’s flight.
