The Celtics basked in their championship parade final Friday with a rolling rally by the streets of Boston.
Jayson Tatum held up the Larry O’Brien Trophy for all to see whereas Jaylen Brown let loose yells of jubilation and flexed excessive atop a duck boat.
Jrue Vacation took a unique method to the crazed celebration that noticed over a million individuals come out for the parade.
Through the newest episode of NESN’s “Maintain My Banner” podcast, host Travis Thomas defined why Vacation’s subdued parade actions caught his eye.

“The one participant that stood out to me was Jrue Vacation,” Thomas stated. “(He) was so calm, cool and picked up. In case you didn’t know what he seemed like, you’d do not know. He wasn’t standing on the duck boat. He was sitting within the window — it seemed to me like he had a drink of some kind.
“And he was simply sipping his drink, actually throwing a peace signal. No smile, nothing else, simply ‘What’s up ya’ll, how ya’ll doing? OK, what’s up? Yeah, I’ve been right here earlier than. Two-time champ, that’s me.’ That was so cool to me. That stood out to me of simply how cool he was.”
Vacation did at one level catch a telephone that was thrown to him and snapped an image earlier than tossing it again.
