The Diamondbacks introduced a sequence of roster strikes in the present day, together with that catcher Gabriel Moreno was reinstated from the IL with Tucker Barnhart designated for task, a swap that was beforehand reported. Additionally they positioned left-hander Jordan Montgomery on the 15-day injured checklist with proper knee irritation, retroactive to June 29, and optioned infielder Blaze Alexander. To take these two roster spots, they reinstated outfielder Alek Thomas from the IL and recalled right-hander Gavin Hollowell.
