Brandon Ingram has one 12 months left on the five-year max deal he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2020. Ingram has been the topic of commerce hypothesis that started forward of final season’s commerce deadline.
One factor appears sure if Ingram is to stay with New Orleans, it will not be on a max deal. The Pelicans reportedly have no real interest in signing the veteran ahead to a max extension that will run for 4 years and a projected $208.5 million by means of 2028-29. With out an extension, Ingram could be an unrestricted free agent in the summertime of 2025.
