NEW YORK — Main League Baseball prolonged the MLB Draft League via the 2030 season and introduced plans to broaden by two groups to eight.
The Draft League launched in 2021 following the reorganization that trimmed the minor leagues, and it began play with six groups that had been within the Jap, Carolina and New York-Penn Leagues.
This 12 months’s season begins June 4 with State Faculty at Trenton, Frederick at West Virginia and Mahoning Valley at Williamsport. Every workforce is scheduled for 80 video games.
